Oxford Treatment Center’s main campus at Etta and sober living facility in Oxford are premier drug addiction rehab centers in rural Mississippi. But what makes them premier? Our staff are passionate about their patients’ recovery, we utilize tried and true treatment approaches, and our facilities are top-notch.
To validate this, Oxford Treatment and its parent company, American Addiction Centers, have a collection of accreditations and membership to organizations that monitor businesses in the health and human services industry. Below are our facilities’ accreditations and memberships.
CARF-Accredited Service Provider
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is an independent, nonprofit accreditor in the health and human services field. An on-site survey determines if a location is up to the CARF standard—and Oxford is.
But the accreditation doesn’t stop there. Because it’s an ongoing process, accredited facilities need to continuously improve. This lets the public know we’re committed to enhancing our performance in this space.
Partner with the Mississippi State Department of Health
Health-related organizations that affect public health are licensed—as are their practitioners—by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Oxford Treatment Centers is proud to partner with this state department as a licensed facility in the state.
Member of National Association for Behavioral Healthcare
The National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH) has been a leader in this industry for over 85 years. The organization, like Oxford Treatment Center, is “committed to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment and care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with mental and substance use disorders.”
This alignment of mission and values is why we became a member of NABH.
Fair Care Promise
The Fair Care Promise understands the need for quality help for patients in the face of the nationwide opioid epidemic. To make sure that patients are not bounced around the system, they recommend treatment facilities sign the Fair Care Promise.
In doing so, Oxford Treatment Center has promised to never broker a client or sell a referral. We’re here to help our patients, but we also want to provide a sense of trust with their family and friends. This is just one way we do that.
The Joint Commission
Our Behavioral Health Care accreditation from The Joint Commission means our Oxford Treatment facilities meet the “highest national standards for safety and quality of care”. Their Gold Seal of Approval is a visible demonstration of our commitment to safe, high-quality care to our patients and their families.
A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is known across the country—and across many industries. The main goal of the BBB is to give customers and businesses trust in the organization they choose to work with.
American Addiction Centers, Oxford’s parent company, has the highest possible rating from the BBB: an A+. Integrity and performance are 2 key tenets to how BBB operates, and they are just as important to us at Oxford.
Certified by Health On the Net (HON)
Health On the Net’s (HON) certification means you can trust the health and medical information coming from this site. The non-profit organization, which isn’t affiliated with any government body, had medical experts evaluate the content and language on sites like ours to make sure it meets their rigid Code of Conduct, and it did.
We’re proud of this certification, because it means we can provide you with an extra sense of comfort when reading about addiction and treatment here.
