clint Crawford named employee of the year at oxford treatment center

Clinical Therapist Clint Crawford, MS, has been honored as Oxford Treatment Center’s Employee of the Year for 2014.

Oxford Treatment Center’s Leadership Committee chose Crawford for the honor following his wins in both June and October 2014 as Employee of the Month. The latter is a peer-nominated honor.

The Employee of the Year award was announced at Oxford Treatment Center’s Employee Christmas Party on Dec. 12.

“It’s a very nice thing to be honored by your peers, when you hold them in such high regard and have great respect for them,” Crawford said. “Oxford Treatment Center’s staff is very qualified and competent. But, in my opinion, what makes it so effective in patient care is the true level of compassion each staff member has when it comes to our patients and their families.

“Getting to be part of such a great team, getting to help patients regain their lives from the grips of the devastating disease of addiction — it’s rewarding beyond words.”

Here’s how Crawford’s colleagues described his contribution to patient care at Oxford Treatment Center: “He has an awesome attitude and is so much fun to work with.” — “He motivates patients and staff members through his optimistic approach.” — “Contributes to a pleasant and positive work environment. He leads by example!” — “Always remembers that patient care is why we are here at Oxford Treatment Center.”

“He is one of the best counselors I have ever had the privilege to work with. His caring, compassionate approach is one of a kind.”

Also honored by their peers for outstanding service as Employees of the Month in 2014 are: Clinical therapists Willie Wells (Jan.), Benny Hamilton (Feb.) and Barbara Cox (Apr.); Marketing Representative Richard Darden (Dec.); Clinical assistants Ricky Clayton (Mar.), Jewel Jenkins (May) and Missy Kennedy (Sept.); LPNs Lisa Gay (Aug.) and Krista Hartsfield (Nov.); and dietary aide Quanna Herron (July).
